Wow... This week's episode really takes the cake. What a cliffhanger. Such emotions. I've never wanted to watch the next episode so badly. Wow... O.O

Also, I wanted to share this link. SC. Really really cool. Someone posted this link on Hamachi and out of curiosity I went and took a look. So, here I am, sharing this with everyone who comes here.

87 - Singapore

AFA'08

Amazingly, on a site I go to quite frequently, there's this coverage of the recent AFA'08. And, for the sake of having a new post here, I'll go though the article's notable stuff briefly. And lo and behold, there's a picture in there that JX and I'm in (though not so notable), let's see who is able to notice it. Hint: It's where we were at in the morning for quite a long period of time.

Page 1
Overview

Page 2
Nanoha doujinshi, some 'interesting' stuff, and be amazed, Chuang Yi!

Page 3
ODEX! Alter, gundams, and the arcade. They missed mentioning the MBAA machine there, but then again the game wasn't up the time the picture was taken.

Page 4
9am queue. This guy's good, he nhas a media pass and didn't need to queue... Basket! Oh, and are you guys in the picture of the queue? Then, the opening ceremony, I missed it as I only entered at like after 9.30am.

Page 5
And here showcases the place. The title of one of the pictures was 'Queue for those buying AFA08 exclusive Gundam model kits'. I didn't know some of the kits there were exclusive to AFA. Kareshi Kanojo no Mise (KKnM to those who don't know the full name, shame on you).

Page 6
The arcade there (is it me or does that guy on the right looks like Sherman? Or is it really him?). The big crowd there is gathering at the MBAA machine there, yes the one this guy didn't mention earlier... Then, he went for lunch (sucker, when in Singapore, you should really try the local food here..). And Power Ranger Operation Overdrive (or the latest one if you don't know), and the talk held by the gundam designer.

Page 7
The queue at 3pm. Surprisingly, the queue was longer at 3 then at 9.. O.O
Then Tamagotchi (<_< at the guy's comment) and duck rice and barley for dinner (that's what I'm talking about! Local food!).
Also, Ichirou Mizuki's concert.
Note: I don't know how this guy passed the time there. Arriving at 9, I lasted til 3 before deciding there wasn't anything left and went home. He waited for the concert on the floor with his PSP... Then again, there WAS this bunch who waited with their NDSs outside JUS-ing...

Day 2
Page 8
The 5s challenge! I saw that toy(?) when I was there on the first day. 'I regretted not bringing enough cash on the first day. Most of the good figurines were sold out on the first day... T_T' he said, ^_^
'Mangaka 08 prize presentation. Some of the prizes were quite good, including drawing boards by Wacom and some anime DVDs', wonder if they're from Odex, the anime DVDs, but then again, Odex doesn't do DVDs now do they? So where were they from?

Page 9
Cosplay and the MCs huh? I remember the MC at the arcade booth being ridiculed from the MBAA side for his kinda lame comments of the ongoing Street Fighter IV tournament on the first day.

Page 10
On stage, after 3-4mins? O.O
Hmm, the cosplay event lasted an hour longer than expected? O.O
Again non-local food?!?! >.<
And the items he bought (I'll try to name them): from left
Muv-Luv Unlimited's Mitsuki
Nendroid Shana
Nendroid Rider(?) (Not too sure here)
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia's Rider (Maid ver) (you got this didn't you HY)
And some other goods I'm not too sure about.
And his media pass. (damn, I'm jealous... )

Extras page 1
His photos of the cosplayers
Damn, he's clueless... Not knowing Illya and Sol Badguy...

Page 2
Hey, is that the male Tifa?

Page 3
Nothing worth mentioning

Page 4
O.o Soul Eater and for Gintama fans, Gintoki. Ultraman, the character in the photo next to it looks really familiar but I just can't seem to recall where I've seen that character before. And Vampire Knight

Page 5
Exia! Is that guyver? Pull open your chest man! Hollow Ichigo and a female Byakuya O.O

p.s. Lets see if you guys can find me in one of the photos there ^_^
Here's a clue, I'm on page 6, first photo.

85 - Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo

And Enemy of the State.

Yesterday, I watched TwKS and today, Enemy of the State (this ain't an anime in case you're wondering why you've never heard of it).

TwKS tells us of the possible dangers of playing with time. From changing the events that are undesirable to you like screwing up in Home Economics, to matters of pride like catching the ball while playing baseball with friends, the main character, Makoto Konno, uses the time travel powers she obtains after an accident in school.

Not realising the consequences of playing around with time, she uses her new-found powers for her own benefits, which result in someone else getting hurt instead. As she changes history of the few days told in the show, the results gets worse and worse, up to the point where 2 of her friends suffer a train accident in her stead. That's when she realises the severity of her playing around with time.

How this story ends, you'll have to find out for yourself if you didn't watch it yesterday ;)
Although this is a remake of the original story, with new characters and such, it still is a good animation.

Enemy of the State.
This is another movie in which Will Smith acts in. I kinda find the movies he act in to be pretty good movies, like The Pursuit of Happiness (though I didn't watch it...) and that zombie movie (>.< I forgot the title...).

Having missed the first 15 minutes of the show due to certain circumstances, I missed why the NSA (National Security Agency [of USA]) was after. Fortunately, the movie explains it only later. He somehow obtains a video, of a high-ranking officer of the NSA, killing a Congress member, and said guy find out and sends the NSA after him.
He runs for his life, and with the help of an ex-NSA agent, pieces together why they are after him. However, he accidentally damages the video allow the way and the only proof of the act is lost. Having no other route left, he stages a risky play to get the criminal to confess to his crime.

Packed with action and wits, this is one good movie. If you missed it, too bad for you. You missed one cool movie..
