Ok ok... I know I haven't posted anything in about a month already. The truth is I'm lazy bugger :P Even though I said to write about SDGO, I'm so lazy, I spend my free time stoning in there rather than posting here, hahaha :D
Anyway, going into NS in less than a week's time, so I doubt I'll post any more any time soon. But before that, this's the last post for a while. ;)
Hmm... Anyway, the latest chapter of Mahou Sensei Negima is really awesome, personally speaking. Being a Chachamaru fan, this chapter is THE BEST, to me :D Much as I've love to discuss the chapter here, there ARE people who dislike(i.e. read: hate) spoilers, thus, not wanting to spoil those people, I'll have to ask everyone to read the latest chapter yourselves here ;)

84 - Okto & AFA'08
Looks like last week was an exception as this week's translation and video quality are decent again. Though, I still think the opening's a little fast forwarded.
Today's the first day of the 2 day Anime Festival Asia 2008. Having attended it, I'm going to talk about what I did today. Missing the pre-registration by a day or a few hours (I tried to register on the evening of the last day and somehow it said that the registration was closed...), I had to take a line that opened later than that for those who pre-registered. So, I went in a bit later than those who pre-registered (about 1/2 hour).
Going in, I went around looking at all the stalls set up as unlike SOME people, I didn't eye anything in there beforehand. So I went around looking at everything. Immediately upon entering, is a gundam stall. It sold gundam model kits, from the latest 00 to even the Three Kingdom gundams. To the left, was a big display of gundam models. There were some pretty cool models there and I think I took a few pictures of them, but my handphone ran outta battery earlier today and is charging right now, once it finish recharging, I'll check and post any and every picture I took today.
Pass that, were some stalls about Animax and some other stuff that I don't exactly remember. Next was a figurine display section. It took up a decent amount of space and it had some interesting figurines up on display.
Near there was a booth set up by Chuang Yi (any Singaporean who don't know them, seriously, get a life). I saw 2 series that interested me. I was following one while the other was one that I had interest in for a while now. The one I was following I had the latest 2 volumes but not the first 3, so that bundle was exactly right for me. ^_^
Though admittedly, I hesitated n buying them (they totally $20 for the 6. Yes, a bargain I know but I still hesitated...). I got them later though, so no disappointment there. ^_^
Then there were figurine selling stalls. I don't exactly know what the shop's were (those interested in knowing can probably ask hy, he'll probably know) but they had some stock of figurines there. Some were bargains while some were at normal prices. I took an interest in one of the figurines on sale there and hesitated only a bit before shelling out $50 ($49 but hey what's the difference?) for it before it disappeared. After that, I continued to check out the place.
There was this small stall in the middle of the place that sold anime posters and a few other collectables. I wanted to check out the stuff there but there was a frigging loooonnnnggggg line there... >_<
Not wanting to line up that long to just see the stall, I moved on. There weren't much left after that. Another anime advertisement booth which advertised some animes (Toradora, Skip Beat and Casshern Sins and Shakugan no Shana to name a few). Surprisingly, there was a doujinshi booth too near there! They had some pretty nice Nanoha doujins there. I didn't get them though as I didn't want to blow so much money.. Regrets around, but I think I would have regretted it more if I blew my savings on them.
There was a stage there, but I didn't pay much attention to it though. I was concentrating more on the arcade there. *eye sparkles*
There, was *drum roll* Melty Blood Actress Again. *loud clapping* Yayyy!! In total, I played it trice losing in all 3, but I put up a good fight too as in all of them, I won 2 out of the 3 rounds before losing.
Around 3, I was feeling tired and went home, ending my trip there.
Yes, my handphone camera sucks and rotating the picture didn't exactly help either...

School Days manga
Remember the picture of the School Days manga I posted a while back?
Here for more information.
Well, some groups have translated it. There're currently 2 groups doing the series. AnimeSigma and Xamayon. Xamayon has 2 chapters up while AnimeSigma has 1. Some may know Xamayon from some of their other works like 'High School of the Dead'. AnimeSigma seems to be a manga download site. I've only seen this site recently so I don't know much about this site. I wonder how'll the ending will be like in the manga. I hope it won't be like the anime's.
Bleh, I'm too lazy to keep updating the archive so I'll be using the default one that blogger.com provides. I'll be adding a list of all my labels.

2nd post today! Don't miss the earlier post below
Ahh... Just finished reading the 145 chapter manga, Hanazakari no Kimitachi E (short form: Hana Kimi). This manga is about a girl who follows her idol to his boarding school. The problem? It's an all boys high school... So she tries to blend in and be with her high jump idol. She even ends up in the same room as him, only to find out that he's quit high jumping...
Pretty nice manga to me and the ending's pretty good to me. A good change compared to the 2 lousy anime endings I've seen recently. Give it a read if you've got the time I say.

A new post! Finally!
Ahh... Finally, I've got some free time. In the past week, I (and everyone in my course) was working on an assignment using the Panda3D engine. Man, it really was a pain. In the end, my group handed up only at 8 p.m. on Friday when the deadline was at 6 p.m. T_T
Oh well, now that that's done, I've got some free time for a while since for these 2 weeks, we're having our break. So, for those who're bored, or already are, I'm gonna introduce some animes to watch and manga to read today to make up for not posting for so long. Forgive me if I've talked about these animes before.
Anime
Bamboo Blade
This anime's about Toraji Ishida (nickname: Kojiro), a kendo teacher at Muroe High. His senpai, who is also a kendo club instructor, makes a bet with him, betting a year's supply of free sushi against a trophy. They challenge their respective kendo club's girl teams to see who is the better instructor. Kojiro, whose club has only 2 member left, has to find another 3 girls to form his team.
My take on this anime: interesting with good laughs.
Clannad
Though the story originates from a H-game, story-wise, this is a good anime. It has funny jokes and is touching at times.
The above summary is from here
My version: the story is about Tomoya, a 3rd year, and his 'interactions' with 5 girls which he meets.
Well, that's it for anime reviews from me for now. The next part, I'll only say what anime is worth watching(to me at least) but I won't give a review.
Ef - A Tale of Memories
Kaiji (this one involves gambling at the early episodes)
Kodomo no Jikan
Rental Magica
Shakugan no Shana II
Shugo Chara (this mainly is a mahou shoujo genre)
Myself; Yourself
Now onto manga recommendations.
Manga
For those who don't know Mahou Sensei Negima, it's worth a read.
My Barbaric Girlfriend (don't be fooled by the title)
Mysterious Girlfriend X
With!
I'm feeling really lazy now so I'm not gonna do any more reviews XD
And that wraps up this post...
Extra:
Oh yea, I forgot this part that I wanted to talk about. Quite a while back already, I changed parts of my blog. Like shifting the hit counter to above the posts, changing the picture at the top of the blog and shifting the music player all the way down to the bottom of the blog.
Also, I included a new song into my playlist, Kokoro no Tamago, from the anime Shugo Chara. It's really, really cute, I can't get enough of it XD

Though the story originates from a H-game, story-wise, this is a good anime. It has funny jokes and is touching at times.
Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student who dislikes his life. However, Tomoya finds that his life is about to change when he meets Nagisa. Tomoya's mother Atsuko died when Tomoya was young, leaving his father Naoyuki to raise him. After the accident, Tomoya's father turned to alcohol and gambling, and held frequent fights with his son. One day, Naoyuki, again arguing with his son, slammed Tomoya against the wall, dislocating Tomoya's shoulder. Ever since then, his father has treated Tomoya nicely, but distantly, as if Tomoya and he were strangers rather than a family. This hurts Tomoya more than his previous relationship with his father, and the awkwardness of returning home leads Tomoya constantly to stay out all night. Additionally, the injury disables Tomoya from participating in his basketball club, and pushes him to distance himself from his school and other activities. Thus his delinquent life begins.
Tomoya's psychology is further developed in his dreams of a bleak world. In the first few dreams of that kind, he sees a world which is devoid of all people except for this one girl, whom is never shown but is spoken of. Each time he dreams he finds out more about the world. Later on, Tomoya finds out that the girl has a special ability to fuse junks together to create new things, with which she creates a body for him. Thus he is reborn in this world, and fills time following the girl around. Tomoya conceives that only the two of them are "alive".
To pass time, Tomoya and the girl try to build another doll with more junk they find, but as it has no soul, it fails to come to life. Eventually, winter sets in, and the girl becomes cold to the point where she cannot move any more. Remembering a distant world where he came from, Tomoya convinces the girl to build a ship so that the two can escape the winter and continue a happy life. However, their flight is doomed to meet tragedy
