Hehe.. Sorry for the wait. Though I said in my previous post that I would talking about this week's episode 2 days ago, I kinda didn't feel like doing anything and so, didn't post til today.. XP
Hmm, so this week, in Toradora! episode 17, contains the new second opening song for the show. Normally it's weird to have a new opening song at episode 17, but if you watched the story so far, you'll understand why the new opening starts at episode 17. Episode 17 starts a new page in the story (somewhat), with Kitamura being rejected in the previous episode and his classmates are trying to cheer him up by matching up. Surprisingly, the class seems to notice finally, that Taiga likes Kitamura. Well, mix and mess ups aside, Kushieda seems to be avoiding Takasu and that's a problem.
Well, that's episode 17 in a nutshell. Let's wait for episode 18 to air this coming Thursday. Well, some fansubs have already subbed episode 18 though, so if you can't wait, you can go and watch it already.

82 - Zzz...
Patiently each week, I eagerly await ToraDora. However, tonight's episode is really really disappointing. The frigging show was flickering every 2s or so!!! And I think the opening song was fast-forwarded by a bit... The translation for this week's episode also seem a little off. For the past 5 episodes, the translations of ToraDora were decent. Compared to the one I follow on the net (Aero subs), it faired pretty well in my opinion. However, this most recent episode's a disappointment... It's like rushed or something... This anime isn't even same week telecasted. In fact, this episode was aired in Japan last Wednesday, so not having enough time to translate properly shouldn't be an excuse.
Really, they should be careful about their shows, stuff like this could damage their reputation...

77 - 21k hits?!?!
Well, that's not my intention in this post (yes, I'm misleading you). This post today is about an anime series I've just finish watching. However, as some of you might feel, I don't write good reviews...
Ok, back to the topic (or not, seeing as the topic is misleading...). The anime series is 'NHK ni yokoso!', or 'Welcome to the NHK!'. I won't going into a review of it (that's not my intention). My only reason for this post is to post my feelings of this particular anime.
'NHK ni yokoso!' is a 24 episode anime. It slowly develops the characters and the story/plot. It has 2 main events, the offline meeting event and the Misaki event (which is by the way, the last event to occur). The second event is a really touching story. It makes watching this anime totally worth it. Although it is somewhat awkward half way in the last episode, it is pretty good overall. Just because of this, this anime ranks pretty high in my opinion. :)

66 - Kung-Fu fight-ti-n-ggg
Haha... Watched Kung-Fu Panda earlier this week. Quite the movie. Was a really laugh. It had me laughing quite a bit ;)
Po(?) is a panda(duh...) whose family runs a noodle stall. His father(a crane... Yes a crane, not a panda. So was his grandfather...) has hopes of handing down the stall to him someday. Po, however, dreams of becoming (sound effects: dadada) a Kung-Fu fighter.
In the movie, he is looked down by everyone after he is chosen as the Dragon Warrior to defeat Tai Long, who escaped from prison. His appointed teacher, refuses to accept him at first, thinking that one of his 5 students should have been chosen instead. Not until later does he realise Po's hidden abilities and helps to develop him. In the end, Po defeats Tai Long after realising erm... the moral of the story, which I have seem to have forgetten... XP
Anyway, it's a pretty good movie for laughs. Recommended to anyone that needs a laugh I think.

Whew...
Ahh... Studio Project 4's(SP4) over...
Ok, first of all, I would like to apologise to everyone/anyone who was anticipating a post from me over the past couple of week (>3 weeks). すみません。
I know I should've posted on the during the Chinese New Year period as by that time, I've already not posted for a while. I had decided earlier that I would post that week as all my lessons had finished and I had the week for. Unfortunately, I fell sick that very weekend. I was sick the whole week up til the start of SP4. So, obviously, as SP4 had started, I was busy and didn't have the time to post here >.<
Thus, here's a long overdue post about nothing important at all. I went to Sim Lim on Fri, and Chinatown on Sat. Yesterday and today were spent watching all the anime eipsodes I couldn't watch during the last 3 weeks. As of now, I've only True Tears episode 8 and 9 left to watch XD
Well, I guess that's it for this post. I haven't anything to post about really today, so, また...
Edit: oh right, I'm thinking of removing the review pics soon. Protests and whatever not are welcome and accepted.

Clannad 17
Whew... though I'm still not feeling well at the moment, I bring to you... *Drum roll* Clannad episode 17's review! *clapclapclap* XD
=.= seeing that this review's image intensive, the images are in links and not displayed to prevent people from lagging. See I'm so nice XP
Episode 17
After challenging and winning the basketball club in a bid to move the choir club to let Koumura-sensei to be their advisor(ep16), the members of the choir club decided to ask Koumura-sensei to be the advisor of both clubs.
Unfortunately, the idea was rejected as sharing advisors isn't allowed. Quote: "Club activity when the advisor is not present is prohibited, so it'll be like one day on, one day off".
Nagisa faints and the opening song comes on... XP (Man, at 17 episodes the opening hasn't changed?)
Nagisa's father, Akio, thanks Tomoya for saving his daughter twice. Doesn't he look really young. But he says that he haven't done anything...
The next morning...
Quote: "I cannot allow my friend to be constantly tardy. No opportunately to inform you yesterday, so I came unannounced. Did I surprise you?". No duh... Waking up and seeing a girl over him...
There are probably people wanting him DEAD as of this moment.
But he doesn't want to go down alone. Oh no. So he pulls 'the other tardy guy' along.
Hmm? What this? Ah! My 'u-know-what'!!!
Good! We're on time ^_^
You're mine for lunch! Quite the popular guy isn't he? Well, this story DID come from a H-game. Of course there'll be girls swarming him, but doesn't she look more like she's threatening him instead?
Chez. She's only helping her sister...
But he isn't interested. Why not? Gay? Bingo!
No, I'm just kidding...
Anyway, let's go home together. Yeah!
Asking him equals asking me.
Damn! Too late.
But, really, using Tomoyo... He has it coming...
Please hurry it up... Stop it or I'll tell on you.
Ok ok. Cafe
But what's a H-game turned anime without this? A new competitor?
OMG! (she kinda looks sadistic here doesn't she?) Ugh...
You're going down with me. Hmm?
You're interested in my body? Seriously, who wouldn't be?
Beg me and maybe... I'll do it!
Huh?
WHAT?!?! He just can't win her.
Puhi!
Botan wants some of Ryou's cooking too? >.<
Really? So easy?
And to undo it, this is all you need to do.
Eh? Who left the door open? What?!?! The charm worked?!?!
ごめんあさい
Huh? No! We can't. But then again... You've got the wrong idea! It's because of the charm!
=.=|
Where in the world would you find such a pin-pointed charm?!?! Crap? No point...
Argh! Don't think anymore! Wait, you serious? HELL YEA!
But don't worry. O_O Let's do it!
=.=|
=.=|||
Just bring it!
O_O
Hey!
I don't find trouble, it normally finds me...
Don't worry, Fuko's here to help!
What? No one's affected? Can't I go home?
I wanna join in! Please!!! Enough of this comedy show!!!
Don't block me! Take this! Hey!
You again? No-... That's right. I started it.

Shakugan no Shana Second 15
After running outta power in the previous episode, Pheles is extremely weak.

Thus, a proposal to give her enough of Yuji's power of existance (those who watch SnS should know the terms so I'm not gonna explain) to get information outta her and at the same time monitor the 'flow of power between the Reiji Maigo and its creator' to try and find out more about the Silver.

^ Someone's jealous that someone's getting too near to someone O_O

^ Ungrateful Pheles
Hmm... An unknown spell insignia on the Reiji Maigo with no observable connection to the Silver whatsoever? Keeper mutated? Meh... More complications...
Yoshida invites Pheles to the school festival to try and persuade her to not kill Yuji and we get to see a liitle of Pheles's relationship with Johan. Man, that's incest... Adopting a baby and the two fall in love with each other later...

^ so that's Johan huh
Turning to the dark side... Well, showing her true colors would be more accurate. The Pheles they were interacting with was a fake (it was only a fragment which carried her consciousness)which only served to let the real Pheles know their location.

Wilhemina say 'Semi-eternal search through contact. It's her unrestricted spell that uses an avatar to research the surroundings until the main body arrives' and identifies it as 'Ring of Wind'.
Yuji is caught!

Ouch! That's gotta hurt... But I guess that's retribution?

A silver aromured hand comes out of Yuji and stabs Pheles in the abdomen(am I spelling this correctly?), shocking everyone...

I wonder what's that? Her butler has it too and both are glowing. Adding to the mystery of who she really is.
Episode 16 preview

And who's this?

Close up.
And that's it for episode 15. Really anticipating episode 16... Please give me feedback about my review this time. I'll keep trying to improve ;) And don't miss my earlier post!

3 things?
First of all, it seems that one of the OVAs of School Days, "School Days: Valentine Days OVA" is released by Eien no Anime. And since I'm so nice, here's the link. Fortunately, this OVA isn't bloody or anything. It's funny :)
And thanks to those who voted this time and last time round. I forgot to thank you for participating on my web, unlike the other buggers who just hang around spamming. However, I've gotta say, I wonder who's the 2 perverts who voted for Kotonoha and the 2 lolicons who voted for her sister... If it was Setsuna, I can understand, but Kokoro? Who's the lolicon here now?
Extra stuff I found somewhere...

Second thing, I guess I'll try reviewing episodes again, but this time I'll put screenshots of the episode as suggested by you guys. Please give me your feedback on my review after I've done the review k? Thanks ;) (Due to the fact that pictures are cut off if I contiuned to use the old style, I've switched styles to show whole screenshots)
Third thing... I forgot what it is already, so forget it...
Edit: I remember now what the third thing was. JUS... Though I remembered what the thing was, I don't remember what I wanted to say about it... T_T
Extra: Uwaaa... browsing through a site for School Days, I found this!

A ?handphone? with Kotomi's(Clannad) picture on it! O_O

Animes...
Heiz... Another anime series's just ended. Ef - a tale of memories episode 12, disappointingly the ending wasn't that good either. It wasn't as bad as Myself; Yourself but it's still not that nice. Zzz...
Well, with this week, Central's showing Burst Angel on Weds, Azumanga Daioh on Thurs and D.Grey-Man on Fris.
Having already watched the first 12/13 episodes of Burst Angel online already quite some time ago, I already know what's gonna happen for the moment. It's a nice series I guess and I can't wait for it to progress to where I stopped watching.
Azumanga Daioh, on the other hand, is a series I've wanted to watch but didn't. It's riddiculous (did I spell wrongly? it looks weird...) and funny. The first episode's looking pretty good already...
D.Grey-Man. A currently ongoing anime series in Japan, Central showed 3 episodes a week until last week where it caught up with the Japan airings. Currently, the exorists are travelling to Japan to meet General Cross with the help of an Akuma. Yes, that's right, with the help of an Akuma. Well, I won't spoil it for those who didn't watch it...

New Year's around the corner
Myself; Yourself has just ended. It's ending is really disappointing... Really anti-climatic. Around halfway into the final episode, it was still building up the tension, however, the way that it settled down and finally end the story was too sudden and kinda left the viewer hanging I felt.
I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks a while back. The story was so-so. Predictable. But the songs (it is more of a musical show after all) were pretty good.
Oh yes, anyone up for watching 'I am Legend'?
Recently, I ate an interesting 'doughnut'. I say 'doughnut' because not only was the dough somewhat chewy (somewhat), there was cream inside as well. I ordered the strawberry favoured one. I think the name was 'Strawberry Dream'. Interesting combination, not bad, I'll say.
Christmas is over and the New Year's around the corner. With the New Year come the new school term... And since I might not be posting anything then, Happy New Year in advance everyone!

A new post! Finally!
Ahh... Finally, I've got some free time. In the past week, I (and everyone in my course) was working on an assignment using the Panda3D engine. Man, it really was a pain. In the end, my group handed up only at 8 p.m. on Friday when the deadline was at 6 p.m. T_T
Oh well, now that that's done, I've got some free time for a while since for these 2 weeks, we're having our break. So, for those who're bored, or already are, I'm gonna introduce some animes to watch and manga to read today to make up for not posting for so long. Forgive me if I've talked about these animes before.
Anime
Bamboo Blade
This anime's about Toraji Ishida (nickname: Kojiro), a kendo teacher at Muroe High. His senpai, who is also a kendo club instructor, makes a bet with him, betting a year's supply of free sushi against a trophy. They challenge their respective kendo club's girl teams to see who is the better instructor. Kojiro, whose club has only 2 member left, has to find another 3 girls to form his team.
My take on this anime: interesting with good laughs.
Clannad
Though the story originates from a H-game, story-wise, this is a good anime. It has funny jokes and is touching at times.
The above summary is from here
My version: the story is about Tomoya, a 3rd year, and his 'interactions' with 5 girls which he meets.
Well, that's it for anime reviews from me for now. The next part, I'll only say what anime is worth watching(to me at least) but I won't give a review.
Ef - A Tale of Memories
Kaiji (this one involves gambling at the early episodes)
Kodomo no Jikan
Rental Magica
Shakugan no Shana II
Shugo Chara (this mainly is a mahou shoujo genre)
Myself; Yourself
Now onto manga recommendations.
Manga
For those who don't know Mahou Sensei Negima, it's worth a read.
My Barbaric Girlfriend (don't be fooled by the title)
Mysterious Girlfriend X
With!
I'm feeling really lazy now so I'm not gonna do any more reviews XD
And that wraps up this post...
Extra:
Oh yea, I forgot this part that I wanted to talk about. Quite a while back already, I changed parts of my blog. Like shifting the hit counter to above the posts, changing the picture at the top of the blog and shifting the music player all the way down to the bottom of the blog.
Also, I included a new song into my playlist, Kokoro no Tamago, from the anime Shugo Chara. It's really, really cute, I can't get enough of it XD

Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student who dislikes his life. However, Tomoya finds that his life is about to change when he meets Nagisa. Tomoya's mother Atsuko died when Tomoya was young, leaving his father Naoyuki to raise him. After the accident, Tomoya's father turned to alcohol and gambling, and held frequent fights with his son. One day, Naoyuki, again arguing with his son, slammed Tomoya against the wall, dislocating Tomoya's shoulder. Ever since then, his father has treated Tomoya nicely, but distantly, as if Tomoya and he were strangers rather than a family. This hurts Tomoya more than his previous relationship with his father, and the awkwardness of returning home leads Tomoya constantly to stay out all night. Additionally, the injury disables Tomoya from participating in his basketball club, and pushes him to distance himself from his school and other activities. Thus his delinquent life begins.
Tomoya's psychology is further developed in his dreams of a bleak world. In the first few dreams of that kind, he sees a world which is devoid of all people except for this one girl, whom is never shown but is spoken of. Each time he dreams he finds out more about the world. Later on, Tomoya finds out that the girl has a special ability to fuse junks together to create new things, with which she creates a body for him. Thus he is reborn in this world, and fills time following the girl around. Tomoya conceives that only the two of them are "alive".
To pass time, Tomoya and the girl try to build another doll with more junk they find, but as it has no soul, it fails to come to life. Eventually, winter sets in, and the girl becomes cold to the point where she cannot move any more. Remembering a distant world where he came from, Tomoya convinces the girl to build a ship so that the two can escape the winter and continue a happy life. However, their flight is doomed to meet tragedy

T-T
Man, Clannad episode 9 is really sad. It left me in tears after watching the episode. Seriously, although the ending of the episode was more on the happy side, it's sad at the same time. Really nice, this anime is. I really recommend it :)
On a side note, I might be changing some parts of my blog today or tomorrow. MIGHT.

Clannad
Wow... This anime's turning out to be quite a touching anime so far. Imagine a hospitalised person whose 'spirit' somehow manages to go to school daily to try and get people to attend her older sister's wedding but is fading from the people whom she's invited to her sister's wedding memory. And the people helping her and noticing how others are forgetting her... Man, it's such a sad story... But, it has a really nice story :)
Currently, the 8th episode is aired and subbed already so those interested can go to veoh or some other streaming websites to watch this anime. So far, I think it's really nice and I recommend watching it ^_^
I'm watching Myself; Yourself too at the moment and I think it's pretty nice too.
Edit: I really should've said that the girl in Clannad's is in a coma too XP

Some anime reviews by me XP
Kaze no Stigma & School Days
I've been watching a few animes in these last few days and I'll be talking about these 2 animes today ^_^
1st up,
Kaze no Stigma
This anime is about Kazuma Kannagi who, although being born in a family of outstanding En-Jutsushis(fire mages), is unable to use En-Jutsu. He loses to Ayano Kannagi in a battle and she gets Enraiha, the family's sacred sword, and he gets kicked out of the family for being so weak. Four years down the road, he returns, changing his name to Kazuma Yagami, as a skilled Fu-Jutsushi(wind mage). As a Fu-Jutsushi, he is really powerful, even being able to defeat his father, Genma Kannagi, the strongest En-Jutsushi in the family. He has entered a contract with the Kaze no Seirei-Ou, the Wind Spirit Lord. Thanks to that, Kazuma is able to draw upon all wind spirits in the atmosphere, which can amplify his powers, and allow him to heal his wounds.
Well, I don't want to spoil the anime for you, so I'm going to stop here.
Overall, not a bad anime to watch. Interesting plot. It starts off interestingly, has comedy episodes in the middle(episode 18 takes the cake) and turns a little darker later on(much later).
School Days
Let me say this first. This is such a wrong anime and I'm NOT recommending people to watch it. I'm recommending people NOT to watch it. Though it starts off normally(I thought it was kind of like Rumbling Hearts at first), it turns extremely wrong. The main character, Makoto Itou, ends up with relationships with about 7 people. The bastard.
Although at first, it was the other characters pushing themselves on him(although its true he didn't resist), he becomes a SM later on and does it with around 7 people. And its not just once in some cases. After one of his first becomes pregnant, he gets shunned when he doesn't want to take responsibility and such. This anime ends as Sekai Saionji, the one who got pregnant, stabs Makoto when he refuses to take responsibility for the child and even makes out with Kotonoha Katsura, his first love but got bored of later on, in front of Sekai. Kotonoha, who went mad for a period after Makoto breaks up with her, after seeing Makoto killed, goes mad again. She calls Sekai out on to the school's rooftop on the same night, after beheading Makoto to keep with her forever =.= , and claims that Sekai's only pretending to be pregnant. The two cross knifes, Sekai using a kitchen knife and Kotonoha using a chopper. Kotonoha "wins" and kills Sekai, and opens her stomach to check if Sekai was indeed pregnant. She says that Sekai was indeed lying about being pregnant... The anime ends with Kotonoha drifting off in her family's boat with Makoto's head in her arms...
Gross eh? This anime is so wrong. I never thought that this anime would be so W. R. O. N. G. @_@ I am so disgusted by this anime.
P.S. I know my reviewing/summary skills aren't so good.
Edit: Added a music player to my blog and adopted a pet ^_^
Edit2: Added a hit counter as well ^_^
