Thailand?

Meh, I didn't feel like posting this past depressing week. With the holidays ending next week, I'm feeling a little desperate. I haven't much this holiday and it's already ending T_T

Well, I said that I would post about my trip to Thailand, but honestly, it was practically shopping most of the time. At most, I could say where I went to shop. Boring stuff to most if not all of you. Thus, my lack of will to post.

Well anyway, I'm finally going to post about my trip now.

Thailand
=====1st day? Or is it night?=====
Leaving at around 12 (which explains why I didn't see Isaac asking me to get him fried mangoes at 1+), my family and I (it's a family trip no duh) took a taxi to the budget terminal. Arriving way too early, we had to wait over 1/2 hour til the counter opened and we could get our tickets. As early as we were, there were actually people who came earlier than us. Well whatever, the plane took around 3/2 hours to reach there. Upon reaching, we took a taxi to the hotel which cost around 300 Baht (about S$13). By the time we finished setting our things down in the hotel, it was pretty late already. We went to a nearby Indian Thai restaurant(don't know if you can call it a restaurant) to eat.

End of 1st day/night.

=====2nd day? Well it's a Friday either way=====
Ok. From this day forward I don't remember where we went, or when we went, so I'll just say whatever I can remember. Went to Platinum, Pratunam and the shops all around them and our hotel. Nothing too interesting...

Yea, and there was this woman who helped us with some directions though she, irritatingly, kept on asking us to go to a jewel shop... =_=

We did go to the four-faced buddha to pray for luck that evening/night.

=====Saturday=====
The weekend. This is when the weekend market starts. Obvious from its name, it opens only on weekends. Before we reached there, while crossing a bridge (yea, people set up shops there too), there was this guy who sold figurines cheap there. I got a Majin Vegeta figurine from him at B 50. I'll put up a picture of it later when I manage to take a decent picture of it with my handphone. The weekend market(due to the length, I'll going to call it WM from here on) is quite big. Well anyway, nothing much to say as we were just shopping all the way there.

Oh yea, and we went to Pantip, a shopping centre dedicated to computer stuff(think Sim Lim or Funan). Obviously, we only window-shopped there(I didn't want to bring computer stuff back [might break or get damaged on the way, plus they might not work]). Ate at the A&W's there. Man, they make the best waffles and ice-cream. NOt to mention the chicken's good too(might even be better than KFC's chicken). The root beer's good too ^_^

=====Sunday=====
Went to MBK(I think that's the name, can't remember clearly though >_<). There was the ONLY arcade out of all the shopping centres we went to T_T Although the arcade wasn't all bad, it wasn't good either. It had quite a few figurine shops as well. The very same Vegeta figurine I saw and got near the weekend market for B 50 was on sale for B 350 there. Anyway, I got a pair of Gundam Seed Destiny characters from there for B 1000(S$45). I don't know if that's cheap, normal or expensive though. The same as above, I'll put up a picture of them once I get a good shot with my handphone.

=====Monday=====
Nothing much on the last day. Some last minute shopping, then off to the airport(the new one) and back to Singapore.

Ah, I've finally posted about my trip to Thailand. Sorry for the wait :P
