Games and consoles

Hmm... I haven't been posting here in a while as I'm currently in the midst of my 3week Studio Project. Its been a week since it started and I'm kept pretty busy, resulting in my lack of time to post here X_X

Today, however, I'm taking time off to post about something interesting I saw in the papers and 8-Days.

Consoles

This article from 8-Days talks about the 3 consoles and their problems. As mentioned in the article, the PS3 overheats to a worrying temperature and some relate it to a hotdog grill, the XBox360's "red ring of death" and the Wii's wrist strap isn't strong enough, leading to broken TVs and black-eyes when the controllers fly after the strap snaps XP

Out of the 3, the Wii seems to have the least problems. I mean, would you rather hardware failure, piping hot consoles or flying controllers if you had to choose 1 outta the 3? Though, who knows, maybe the PS3 and the Wii might have problems like the XBox360 1 year down the road...

The following articles are game review from the Digital Life in The Straits Times today.

Taiko no Tatsujin DS
Brain Age 2
Deal Or No Deal

Taiko no Tatsujin DS, a 7 outta 10 review from the papers. Some of my friends and I are into this game recently. Quite a fun game, especially when playing with other people. Although level 4, which is unlocked after completing a certain number of songs on level 3, is really, really tough. I've only completed 2-3 songs on that level, and they're the easier songs...

Brain Age 2. Surprisingly, this game got a 8.5. The tests look pretty interesting in the review and I'm interested to try this game out.

And finally, Deal Or No Deal. A measly 2 outta 10. After watching some episodes of this show on television, I thought that this game was interesting enough to play once in a while. However, the reviewer begs to differ. I think I'll try out the game before I disagree with the Digital Life's game reviewer...
