Going to Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow evening. Be gone by afternoon though. Won't be back til Monday evening, so don't expect any posts til... on second thoughts, don't expect anything at all.

Edit: Crap. My laptop seems to have an affinity with trojans in the temp internet folder. I just formated it a while back and didn't use my laptop much and when I try to clear the temp files, my anti-virus tells me that I've got another trojan in my temp files... >_<

Yesterday, I went to arcade at Bugis Junction and I was impressed. The arcade there's really big with many game that weren't too shabby. There were many racing games like Outrun 2 SP, Initial D ver. 4 and Wangan Midnight 3. The Outrun 2 SP had a double seat to allow another person to sit with you like in the game. It also moves to the way you turn the car, though I think it wasn't exactly accurate (well I didn't try it so I can't say for sure that it wasn't accurate). There were also a lot of fighting games there as well. From the classic Street Fighter II to the newer Tekken 5 Dark Resurection and Soul Calibur 3.

Talking about SC3, I played 2 games as there was someone to challenge there (no one plays it in my area sadly T_T). Well, anyway, this person I played against was really good. I saw him using Siegfried and Nightmare to beat another guy using Astaroth approximately 9 times before me. So when I fought him, I thought he would still use either of the 2 mentioned earlier. I chose my character, Sophitia. He waited for me to chose my character before choosing his character. To my surprise, he chose Mitsurugi. As I had not seen how good/bad he is at using Mitsurugi, I fought, not knowing what to expect. He won the first round with a little life left. I won the next round, but lose the remaining 2 (3 win fight). He's good, I thought. I challenged him again, this time, using Cassandra. This time, I totally lost all 3 rounds.

Honestly, I've never seen anyone play SC3 like this guy (no players in my area probably's a factor). I can't believe I lost so easily... T_T

Boy, it's been a lazy period, the past week and I didn't feel like doing much other than play games, thus the lack of posts here other than in the tagboard... heiz... even now, I'm still kinda tired and don't really feel like posting, but anyway...

Last week, just before the GCA(I forgot what it stood for...), there was a Code-A-Thon. The participants had to code for 30 hours and produce a game which would be judged by a group of judges. There were 3 awards to be won, making the total a team could win $6,000. Well, my group didn't win and I was really tired at the end of it :P Oh well, I guess it was good experience (for what I dunno, but whatever...).

Man, I'm really bored right now...
