Err... Someone check for me, is the hit counter gone or something?

102 - Tournaments

So, with the Blazblue tournament behind us (unfortunately I didn't go...), there's going to be a Melty Blood Actress Again(MBAA) tournament and a Arcana Heart 2 tournament soon.

MBAA tourney will either be held on the 9th of May or 16th May and AH2 tourney's tomorrow, Labor Day. Links to organisers' blogs for details are under the links section, so take a look at least, cos I understand that NONE of you will be participating in either...

101 - Ultimate joystick indeed...

Here. For those who can't seem to find a good position to place their joysticks or don't have much space to place their joystick on the table to play, this is a solution to the problem. ><

100 - arcade games

Those who go to arcades frequently would probably know that the Virtualand@Bugis arcade is pretty popular. They are located at Basement 1 in Bugis Junction. There, games ranging from the music genre, like Jubeat, DrumMania(DM) and GuitarFreaks(GF), to racing, Maximum Tune 3DX and Initial D (3/4/5? I'm not sure what they have currently), shooting, the latest Razing Storm which has the theme of ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION and of course, not forgetting fighting.

As you readers know, I'm quite the fan of the fighting genre, playing games like Street Fighter 4(SF4), Melty Blood(MB) (series), Sugoi! Arcana Heart 2(AH2) and the newest Blazblue(BB) (trailer here). Well, the arcade near the area I stay in, Virtualand, has recently got a cabinet of Blazblue. Unfortunately, the more 'exotic' games like AH2 is only available in Singapore at the (somewhat) newly opened shopping center in Bugis, i.e. Iluma. And note that the arcade there is not run by neither Virtualand nor ZoneX, but a never-before-heard-of operator (at least I've not heard of them), Arcadia.
While SF4 is the easiest out of these games to access, other games like Melty Blood(only at Virtualand@Bugis, Arcadia@Iluma and Lot 1 so I;ve heard) are somewhat rare to find in Singapore..

Well, fortunately for me, the arcade here has a cabinet of BB here and there's not many people playing it (no idea if they're flat out not interested or if it'll take a while) while the 2 SF4 cabinets are frequently occupied...

So, those interested in trying out/training BB, Sembawang's a place to play it. However, if this 'ulu' outlet of Virtualand has the game, I can't help but wonder if Virtualand has a cabinet of BB at every outlet. So far, AMK's and Bishan's Virtualand has them too, though last I saw, AMK's still under repair......

99 - DB Kai?!?!

So yeah, DragonBall's got itself a remake. Calling itself DB Kai, the first episode is out.

The quality is actually pretty nice compared to the previous DB to me, though I think that they've really got to change the voice actors... Their images and their voices don't match at all...

The animations pretty good and the video looks good. The story starts at the same point as the original animation, Raditz.

So far, this series looks pretty good, but I hope it won't drag like its predecessor did...

98 - Rock

Recently I've been listening to rock tracks from some fighting games, like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, and I've got to say, Daisuke Ishiwatari knows his stuff.

For example, this playlist here has some of the songs, or rather osts, by him.

Yep, the 2009 editor for the NDS is out. Can't wait to try it out!

Extra: for those who don't want to grind to get all the cards, I'm uploading a cheat file which you can use to get all cards. Link'll be up in a bit. Also, I've got Mana Khemia: Student Alliance for the PSP as well. Pretty nice game to me. Recommended!

96 - IT fair

Yep, IT fair at Suntec Expo hall on 12 - 15 March. I went on Saturday to take a look at the place, see what's on offer, etc, etc...

Man, was it PACKED or what... There were so many people there on Saturday. Totally like a pack of sardines. So yeah, the fair took up the whole building. Level 1 had digital cameras from what I could see (it was tough to even go up the escalators, it was THAT packed even at the first floor..).

I couldn't see what the second floor had and the third was occupied by Sony showing off their Vaio series and some PS3 stuff.

Fourth level, this was where my interests started. Levels 4 and 6. They had the computer stuff. From desktops and laptops (mainly laptops though), to (portable) hard discs and accessories...

Yeah, so mainly what I'm saying I did on Saturday was: go to Suntec Expo hall, walk and walk and walk around the place. Haha...
