112 - DJ Max Technika

Not much info as of yet on GameFAQs, so I'll give my views on it.

- gameplay looks like ouendan, touching points on a touchscreen (not buttons like Jubeat)
- uses a card to keep track of achievements like other recent music games
- not sure but i think i saw a network mode
- some songs from the psp ver are noted to be in. e.g. ladymade star and blythe
- has a jack to connect ur ear/head phone!!! no more worries that u cannot hear the music anymore!! 0.0

That's all I can remember about it right now. the machine i saw is at Causeway Point's TimeZone. card goes for $6 and 1 game's $2 for normal card. VIP was either $1.80/90

I didnt take any pic as someone was playing when I was there, so...

106 - ...

I really don't know what to talk about these days. Nothing interesting or special to talk about. But for the sake of this post I'll talk about what I'm doing these days, I guess..

On the NDS, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, which came out recently is a good game to me. The plot's pretty interesting to keep playing.
Also, Megaman Star Force 3 should be released soon. I don't know about you people, but it's definitely a must play for me. :D

PSP, Fate/Unlimited Codes. Port of the PS2 version. Enough said.

These two and 2 other I'd been put of playing for a while now is what's eating up my time these days. Haha...

Err... Someone check for me, is the hit counter gone or something?

102 - Tournaments

So, with the Blazblue tournament behind us (unfortunately I didn't go...), there's going to be a Melty Blood Actress Again(MBAA) tournament and a Arcana Heart 2 tournament soon.

MBAA tourney will either be held on the 9th of May or 16th May and AH2 tourney's tomorrow, Labor Day. Links to organisers' blogs for details are under the links section, so take a look at least, cos I understand that NONE of you will be participating in either...

100 - arcade games

Those who go to arcades frequently would probably know that the Virtualand@Bugis arcade is pretty popular. They are located at Basement 1 in Bugis Junction. There, games ranging from the music genre, like Jubeat, DrumMania(DM) and GuitarFreaks(GF), to racing, Maximum Tune 3DX and Initial D (3/4/5? I'm not sure what they have currently), shooting, the latest Razing Storm which has the theme of ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION and of course, not forgetting fighting.

As you readers know, I'm quite the fan of the fighting genre, playing games like Street Fighter 4(SF4), Melty Blood(MB) (series), Sugoi! Arcana Heart 2(AH2) and the newest Blazblue(BB) (trailer here). Well, the arcade near the area I stay in, Virtualand, has recently got a cabinet of Blazblue. Unfortunately, the more 'exotic' games like AH2 is only available in Singapore at the (somewhat) newly opened shopping center in Bugis, i.e. Iluma. And note that the arcade there is not run by neither Virtualand nor ZoneX, but a never-before-heard-of operator (at least I've not heard of them), Arcadia.
While SF4 is the easiest out of these games to access, other games like Melty Blood(only at Virtualand@Bugis, Arcadia@Iluma and Lot 1 so I;ve heard) are somewhat rare to find in Singapore..

Well, fortunately for me, the arcade here has a cabinet of BB here and there's not many people playing it (no idea if they're flat out not interested or if it'll take a while) while the 2 SF4 cabinets are frequently occupied...

So, those interested in trying out/training BB, Sembawang's a place to play it. However, if this 'ulu' outlet of Virtualand has the game, I can't help but wonder if Virtualand has a cabinet of BB at every outlet. So far, AMK's and Bishan's Virtualand has them too, though last I saw, AMK's still under repair......

97 - Yu-gi-Oh! & Mana Khemia

Yep, the 2009 editor for the NDS is out. Can't wait to try it out!

Extra: for those who don't want to grind to get all the cards, I'm uploading a cheat file which you can use to get all cards. Link'll be up in a bit. Also, I've got Mana Khemia: Student Alliance for the PSP as well. Pretty nice game to me. Recommended!

92 - AMK's new arcade

Seems there's a new arcade in the building behind AMK hub. It's on the second level and the escalator up is at the side of the building, so don't fret if you can't find how to go up there. Although, it kinda reeks of smoke there and there's quite a few people hanging outside the arcade there. It's pretty new and there are some machines not on yet.

The games there include Pop' n Music, BeatMania, GuitarFreaks, DrumMania to name a few. There's also 6, yes 6, machines of Street Fighter IV there! O.O There was also an Otomedius machine there, but it wasn't on yet either..

Ha.. Can't wait to see what the machines in the middle are. It seems to be Konami machines, 8 of them if I remember correctly, though some were lacking even the joysticks at the moment..

91 - Blazblue - Calamity Trigger & SF IV

Well, before I start, let me explain the previous post, seeing as how SOME people didn't understand what I was doing...

I was watching some animes when I came across some nice shots (and by nice shot I mean cute or funny shots you perverts). I thought of sharing with you guys when I remembered that SOME of you here having weird/different tastes while others don't appreciate the stuff I appreciate. Thus, I decided to forget it. Thus, the lame pictures in the previous post.

Ok, back to the topic. Today, I found out about a new fighting game on the arcade and later on, the PS3. From the makers of the Guilty Gear(GG) series, Blazblue, is a new fighting game that looks quite similar to the GG series. Video 1, Video 2, Video 3.
The system looks really like GG... Hell, even the 2 main characters are really similar to the 2 main characters in GG, except that they use different elements... -.-'

And now, to the other topic.
Yay! The Star Factory at Sun Plaza has Street Fighter IV as of today! When I stopped by the arcade on my way home earlier, I saw it! 2 cabinets of SFIV right out front! too bad its also $1 here.. T_T But all the same, its great that they brought SFIV to the Sun Plaza branch :) They've been seriously ignoring the place for like forever, so its good to see SFIV here :D

80 - MBAA と SFIV

Today, I went down to Douby Ghaut (crap, how do you spell it... =.=) and there, were 2 games I was looking forward to playing. Melty Blood Actress Again(MBAA) and Street Fighter IV(SF4). MBAA was in the ZoneX while SF4 was in Star Factory. MBAA costed me 40cents as I'm a have a VIP tapz card. SF4 was $1 per play though (expensive... T_T). MBAA's pretty much the same as MBAC(Act Cadenza), though I couldn't pull off a combo I normally could do... Anyway, MBAA's pretty free there as few people even go there in the first place, so playing it's not a problem. SF4 in Star Factory's MIGHT be a little different though. When I was there today, there was another person there playing it. He was using Akuma, a somewhat secret character there (something like choosing Akuma in X-Men vs Street Fighter, an open secret). So anyway, I challenged him, using Ryu, and beat him twice before having my ass handed to me in his third try... XD Nice match though :)

76

Sian... During this Industrial Attachment Project(IAP), it's pretty boring... Add the fact that there's not really any good NDS game recently makes it a really big bummer. Later this week sees Star Wars: The Force Unleashed being released and later this month, Disgaea DS. I'm kinda looking forward to Disgaea DS while Star Wars's a time passer. Knights in the Nightmare, a Japan release looks interesting too. I wonder what kinda game it is. Hopefully, it's a decent game.

73 - It's the holidays for 2 weeks

Whew... It's the holidays... Finally... After this, the industrial attachment starts. However, before it starts, I'm going to relax til I don't want to relax anymore. Ok, time to talk about some games.

Sangokushi Taisen TEN's out. Basically, it's the sequel of Sangokushi Taisen. This one has better graphics, new controls, etc, etc... Gameplay's still the same of course. I think the graphics in this one is somewhat comparable to the arcade version. Of course, this wouldn't be as good as the arcade version, but this one looks pretty good still.

Monster Farm 2's out. I don't know if it's good or not but I'm going to try this game as I liked the TV series last time.

Hmmm... After some thoughts, I decided. I'm putting up a poll. This poll will decide if I'll setup up a forum. So, if you guys want somewhere where you can post whatever you want to, vote. If I don't get enough votes, I won't setup up the forum. ;)

69 - new games

Quite a few games released recently. Of which a few I'm going to name and maybe talk about.

Samgukji DS 2
I thought it was the next 三国志大戦 just spelled weirdly or something. So, I tried the game, only to notice that it was in Korean... Not only that, it looked like an RPG...

Higurashi no Nakukoru ni Kizuna - Dai-Ichi-Kan - Tatari
A game from the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series. It's another 256MB game. Unfortunately, this is one of those games where you need to know quite a bit of the Japanese language to play / enjoy / understand / etc... I wanted to play it seeing that it's 256MB in size, but... Oh well...

Trauma Center - Under the Knife 2
Yup, it's finally out. No introductions needed for those who played or at least tried the first game. For those who didn't, you're a doctor and you perform surgery on people to save them from stuff ranging from a normal surgery to extract glass that entered a person's heart from an accident to fighting bioterrorism (i.e. GUILT, oh the nightmare... T_T). Well, there're more things to battle against in this game.

Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Fate of Heat
A japanese game, though this one probably doesn't require much Japanese knowledge (I think). RPG.

Megaman Star Force 2 : Zerker X Ninja / Saurian
Hooray! Finally it's out in English! The third game's already has info on it out... >_< Anyway, play this game! It's good. There's a multiplayer option in the game. Defeat your enemies! Wave Battle! Ride On!

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2(FFTA2)
Turn-based strategy game. You take turns moving and attacking enemies. Multiplayer's limited to trading if I remember correctly.

Of the 6, I'm playing Trauma Center 2 (started today) and Megaman Star Force 2 : ZxS version actively. I only play FFTA2 a little (barely actually after Megaman SF2 came out). Samgukji DS 2's a waste of time I think while Hitman might be good but I've got other games to play. I would play Higurashi if I could understand it, however, I can't so...

65 - da-da-da...

Man, I'm got totally nothing to talk about recently. I have totally no idea what to post here. But, I thought that this can't go on like this, so I'm here posting absolutely nothing interesting here. This post is gonna be total bull and uninteresting, so skip it if you want (though if you've read til here already, you've probably nothing better to do anyway other than to read this).

Meh... I wonder when Summon Night : Twin Age / Edge's gonna come out... I played the Japanese version, meaning I understood zip. So now that the United States version's coming out, I'm so gonna (re)play it.

Hey, it's out. K, cya. I'm off to play it now ;)

Ehe... Changed the main pic. Most, if not all of you should recognise him... The pic's from the manga

64 - Very Difficult mode

Yes! I've beaten the very difficult mode in 三国志大戦.

Whew... The usage of 3 sieges is over-whelming... Bam. 3 hits and done
