66 - Kung-Fu fight-ti-n-ggg

Haha... Watched Kung-Fu Panda earlier this week. Quite the movie. Was a really laugh. It had me laughing quite a bit ;)

Po(?) is a panda(duh...) whose family runs a noodle stall. His father(a crane... Yes a crane, not a panda. So was his grandfather...) has hopes of handing down the stall to him someday. Po, however, dreams of becoming (sound effects: dadada) a Kung-Fu fighter.

In the movie, he is looked down by everyone after he is chosen as the Dragon Warrior to defeat Tai Long, who escaped from prison. His appointed teacher, refuses to accept him at first, thinking that one of his 5 students should have been chosen instead. Not until later does he realise Po's hidden abilities and helps to develop him. In the end, Po defeats Tai Long after realising erm... the moral of the story, which I have seem to have forgetten... XP

Anyway, it's a pretty good movie for laughs. Recommended to anyone that needs a laugh I think.

65 - da-da-da...

Man, I'm got totally nothing to talk about recently. I have totally no idea what to post here. But, I thought that this can't go on like this, so I'm here posting absolutely nothing interesting here. This post is gonna be total bull and uninteresting, so skip it if you want (though if you've read til here already, you've probably nothing better to do anyway other than to read this).

Meh... I wonder when Summon Night : Twin Age / Edge's gonna come out... I played the Japanese version, meaning I understood zip. So now that the United States version's coming out, I'm so gonna (re)play it.

Hey, it's out. K, cya. I'm off to play it now ;)

Ehe... Changed the main pic. Most, if not all of you should recognise him... The pic's from the manga

Anyway, I'm restarting my game. I've completed the first 2 countries already... Sian...

61 - 三国志大战

Found this game on the NDS recently. For those who don't know what this game is, it's basically similar to the one's in the arcade. You know, the three kingdoms one where people use cards to play. Yeah? Well, someone told me recently it was on the NDS. Being interested in the game since seeing it in arcades, I tried the game. Pretty good, gameplay's fun, graphics definitely can't compare to the one in the arcade, but sufficient to me. Link to the english official site where you can learn how to play the game. There's a multiplayer option to battle other people, however, it's always 1 on 1.

Oh yeah, for those playing The World Ends With You, here's a link to a pretty good site for information about evolving pins, etc, etc...

Extra: I found this while browsing youtube and wanted to share, so...

60 - The World Ends With You. Probably the hottest game this season

Recently, there's a game that's pretty fun to play (to me at least). It's TWEWY (i.e. title).

In this game, you play as Neku Sakuraba, an anti-social boy (at first anyway) who is dragged into a game of life and death. He has to stay alive for 7 days in a game, where the losers are 'erased', completing missions within time limits.

However, he doesn't remember anything. Other than his name, he doesn't remember anything. Why he's in the game, how he died, etc... and also, the fact that he's dead. The setting is in Underground Shibuya, where people who have died gather to play this game. The winner(s) get to be revived and live again.

He doesn't do this alone though. Players need partners to survive and fight the 'noises' (think random battle like in other games except that in this game the battles aren't random).

The battle system features a new way of battling. Using the touch screen to control Neku, you use the d-pad or the XYAB buttons to control your partner. Both attacking and avoiding attacks with Neku are done using the touch screen. Avoiding attacks with your partner is done by either jumping (up or X) or blocking/avoiding (down or B). Both characters share the life bar and you lose when the life bar drops to 0. They do no have separate life bars, this can be considered as a good or bad point depending on the person.

This game is really popular, cited from wikipedia:
Overall, The World Ends With You has been well received among video game critics. Many critics note the departure from other popular titles such as Square Enix's Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series. Thunderbolt gave the game a rating of 9 out of 10, citing its refreshingly original story, integration of urban culture and spiritual myth, and intuitive, fast-paced combat via the touch screen; while bringing up the aforementioned differences between it and other Square Enix games. GamePro also awarded the game a 9 out of 10. Game Informer gave the game an 8.25 out of 10 along with the Handheld Game of the Month award for May 2008. IGN has given the game three different reviews, each from a different regional branch (UK, US, and AUS), and scores of 8.9, 9.0, and 9.1 out of 10 respectively. All three have awarded the game Editor's Choice Award. In addition, X-Play gave it 5 out of 5 and called it a "must play" DS game. This is the first DS game in almost two years to get a perfect score from the show. The last game awarded this score was Mario Kart DS.
